The piano post graduate course proposes an educational path of exellence for young piano players who wish to increase their instrumental and musical preparation and knowledge of piano literature under the guidance of important musicians.
Numerous performance occasions allow the students in the piano post graduate course to “test” their preparation during public concerts, the participation of which is considered an integral part of the educational path.

An internal competition (april-may) will offer scholarships to most deserving students.

The excellent educational quality of the piano post graduate course creates excellent job opportunities in the field of music for talented and passionate young musicians, helping them to move towards high-level professional activities.

Programme: the interpretation of the piano repertoire, with the aim of favoring the maturation of the artistic awareness of young musicians through the deepening of the technical-virtuosic background, the qualitative care in the emission and perception of sound, the deepening of the related stylistic aspects to the different periods, attention to postural and emotional components; a specific and personalized work, which also benefits ofthe frequency of the meetings.

Students can participate in chamber music project in collaboration with students of other post graduate courses.
At the professor’s discretion, the best students may be chosen to hold recitals during the year.

Admission Requirements: Two Chopin études or one Chopin étude and one of the student’s choosing among those of Liszt, Rachmaninoff and Debussy; one Sonata by Mozart, Beethoven or Schubert; one Romantic piece.

The course is reserved for students who have instrument degree VO or AFAM I level. In case of early talent students who haven’t such degrees will be anyway admitted to the course.
The course will take place only if the minimum number of students required is reached. Age limit: 26

The course divides in two type of offer:
1) Students with excellent technique will receive lessons only by the principal teacher
2) Students who need more work with technique and help in their study (by teacher’s discretion) will have lessons one hour a month with M° Enrico Stellini too. This lesson will be held in the same day of one of the dates of M° Andrea Lucchesini’s lesson

Auditors admitted compatibly with the availability of rooms due to anti-contagion measures.

Visiting professor’s masterclass is free for students of the course and open to external students subject to availability

Masterclass fee for auditors: € 50.00
