Programme: Interpretation of guitar repertoire.
The course is for guitarists who are interested in performing their instrumental and musical level starting from a preparation which corresponds to the AFAM first level Academic Degree or Old Order degree (in exceptional cases also students not yet in possession of the titles).
The course is structured in such a way as to offer each student an in-depth study (and completion) of his own repertoire, starting from interpretation and transcription of baroque music, the tech-nique and performance practice of the nineteenth century (also on original instruments), the lan-guages of 20th century music and the repertoire for guitar and orchestra - also entrusting visiting professors with the aspects of the repertoire that are particularly formative for the soloist. In ad-dition to individual lessons - the modality of which will be individually agreed with the teachers (single long lesson or double lesson) - seminar sessions will also be held, such as the one envis-aged on lutherie and instrument technology held by Andrea Tacchi. At the professor’s discretion, the best students may be chosen to hold recitals during the year.
Admission requirements: a program chosen by the candidate of about 20 minutes
The course will take place only if the minimum number of students required is reached.
Auditors admitted compatibly with the availability of rooms due to anti-contagion measures.
