The violin and chamber music post graduate course proposes an educational path of exellence for young violin players and chamber music ensembles who wish to increase their instrumental and musical preparation and knowledge of musical literature under the guidance of important musicians.
Numerous performance occasions allow for the students in the violin and chamber music post graduate course to “test” their preparation during a public concert, the participation of which is considered an integral part of the educational path.
An internal competition (april-may) will offer scholarships to most deserving students.
The excellent educational quality of the violin and chmaber music post graduate course creates excellent job opportunities in the field of music for talented and passionate young violinists, helping them to move towards high-level professional activities.
Programme: Lavoro sulla tecnica di base e sul repertorio violinistico solistico, cameristico e orchestrale a misura delle necessità e delle capacità individuali di ogni allievo. La flessibilità interpretativa anche sulla base di un approccio storicamente informato.
Programme: Study of basic technique and of solo, chamber and orchestra repertoire for violin, according to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Study of interpretative flexibility based also, but not solely, upon an informed historic approach.
Chamber music course’s goals: The goal is reaching, realizing and communicate a common reading and interpretation of a score.
At the professor’s discretion, the best student may be chosen to hold recitals during the year.
Admission Requirements: Candidates must play the following programme:
- Violin course: first movement, including cadenza, of a Concerto from the Classical or Romantic eras, as well as two movements of a J. S. Bach Sonata or Partita.
- Chamber Music course: two movements chosen from two compositions of two different periods one of them the classical one.
For the chamber music course are admitted groups already done.
Maximum number of students admitted to the course: 6 students by teacher’s discretaion.

The course is for musicians who have obtained the Old Order Degree or AFAM 1st level degree, but in cases of precocious talent, students not yet in possession of the aforementioned qualifications could also be admitted.
Auditors admitted compatibly with the availability of rooms due to anti-contagion measures.
