Jazz

I corsi del Dipartimento di Musica Jazz e Tecniche di Improvvisazione sono aperti a tutti gli allievi che intendano conoscere e approfondire il linguaggio e le tecniche del repertorio jazz, oltre che dell’improvvisazione quale disciplina “creativa” (Instant Composition), nelle sue accezioni più vaste.

Le lezioni costituiranno un approfondimento di tutti gli aspetti (storico-stilistici, teorico-pratici) legati alla disciplina della musica jazz e dell’improvvisazione libera, nella pratica strumentale solistica e d’insieme.

Paolo Silvestri: Jazz Composition

The course in Jazz Composition aims to define and study the stylistic and technical aspects of composition in the field of jazz, without omitting forms, styles and compositional techniques relative to classical music, so it is impossible to feel detached from a culturally advanced and conscious musical idea.

Riccardo Galardini: Jazz Guitar

The goal of the course is to help students acquire the technical knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate playing solo, in small, medium or large ensembles, not only expressing themselves in a personal musical language but also aware of the stylistic and formal aspects relative to Jazz music.

Antonino Siringo: Jazz Piano

Guido Zorn: Jazz Contrabass and Electric Bass

The course will have an in-depth study of the aspects regarding jazz singing, under the stylistic profile as well as specific technique.
