Coming from Livorno, He was introduced into the music field by his mother. At the age of 13 He joined Maria Tipo’s class, a crucial point for his musical education entirely held by the famous Neapolitan pianist. At the age of 18 He got his piano’s diploma with the highest scores, graduated with honors and distinction at “L.Cherubini” conservatory, Florence.

Later on He joined Maria Tipo’s “Cours de Perfectionnement et Virtuositè” at the Highest Conservatory of Geneva, where He obtained the prestigious “Premiere Prix”.
At the age of 15 He has brilliantly established himself at the “M. Clementi” Contest in Florence, deserving to participate at the Piano Festival “Vincitori di Concorsi nazionali” placed in Bari’s Petruzzelli Theater. In 1984 He played Chopin’s first Concert with the Philharmonic Orchestra from Marche, winning the absolute first price at the Osimo’s National Contest. He also won several prizes at the following music Competitions: Taranto and Treviso’s, “A.M.A. Calabria”, “Viotti-Valsesia” and Seregno’s “E. Pozzoli”. During that period He played for important concert societies, and thanks to his executions He obtained a great public success and a positive critique for his authentic expressivity and his elegant timbre, favoring the Romantic repertoire.
Moved by an ardent didactic passion – a precious heritage acquired by his great musical education – Enrico Stellini conducts an intense teaching career, awarded by his students’ great achievements in piano’s contests all over Italy. Holder of the main chair of piano class at the “N. Paganini” Genova’s Conservatory He’s regularly invited to hold masterclass for “Umbria Classica”. He worked alongside Pietro De Maria at Pinerolo’s Music Academy holding advanced specialization courses, and from this year He’s in charge of the course attended by the most successful Maria Tipo’s school pianists.
Since 1996 He’s one of the main teachers of the Basic Courses at Fiesole’s Music School and cooperates with Andrea Lucchesini for advanced specialization courses.
