Born in Belgium in 1992, Livia Zambrini is a pupil of Federica Ferrati. She attended Fiesole School of Music with Maria Grazia Cantelli and she graduated in 2012 at the Conservatory “G. Frescobaldi” in Ferrara
with full marks. In 2015 she obtained the Master Degree cum laude in Chamber Music at the Istituto “R. Franci” in Siena, under the guidance of Matteo Fossi and, in the same year, the Fellowship in Piano Music Performance of the Royal Schools of Music of London, issued by ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), under the guidance of Federica Ferrati. In 2017, she completed the special piano course with Pier Narciso Masi at the Centro Studi Musica & Arte of Florence, obtaining her Diploma with the highest qualification. In the same year she obtained the Master Degree cum laude in Piano Music Performance at the Istituto “R. Franci” in Siena, supervised by Matteo Fossi. From 2015 to 2017 she followed a piano stage with Anne Queffélec at the École Normale “A. Cortot” in Paris.
She performed in important festivals and locations, as the International Festival “Pianorama”, “I Fiori Musicali” of Florence in collaboration with Musica InContro, Teatro Everest, “I concerti al Galileo”, at the “Lyceum” of Florence, “Fonte Bertusi Spring Music Week”, the Stibbert Museum of Florence, “I concerti di campagna” in Montecompatri (Rome), “Franci Festival” of Siena, Accademia Chigiana and the Accademia dei Rozzi in Siena, for the “Amici della Musica di Massa Marittima”, Festival IMOC in Chianciano Terme and the Livorno Music Festival. She has been attending several piano masterclasses taught by Federica Ferrati, Matteo Fossi, Marco Gaggini, Edoardo Rosadini, Anne Queffélec, Alexander Romanovsky, Vitaly Samoshko. She attended “Laboratorio”, an annual piano course headed by Alexander Romanovsky at the Centro Studi Musica & Arte in Florence. She is fascinated by chamber music as well and she plays in various ensembles with piano, such as duos, trios and quartets, widening her repertoire, in many public performances: she is currently working with Federica Ferrati in Piano Duo, with Leda Mileto (violin), Benedetta Bucci (alto), Stefano Bruno (cello), and in trio with Daniele Fabbrini (clarinet) and Carmelo Giallombardo (alto).
In 2010 she won the “Voces Intimae” Competition and she played Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Paola (Cosenza).
She is working for masterclasses and high perfectioning classes with artists as Felice Cusano, Natalia Gutman, Yair Kless, Alberto Bocini, Marco Fiorini, Calogero Palermo, Duccio Ceccanti, Alice Gabbiani, Patrizio Serino, Marco Rizzi, Marco Lorenzini, Jörg Winkler, Jérome Pernoo, Pavel Berman, Eva Bindere.
She is assistant of Federica Ferrati in Vitiano (Arezzo), where summer piano courses are organized.
She has taught Piano at the Centro Studi Musica & Arte of Florence since 2012; since 2018 she has taught at the Accademia Musicale di Firenze.
She works as piano accompanist at Fiesole School of Music for violin, alto and cello junior and high perfectioning classes.
