Since childhood Luana has had a great passion for singing, which she has cultivated with amateur choral experiences.
After finishing secondary school she begins studying singing under the guidance of M.V. Romano, and graduates with M ° N. Panni at the "L. D'Annunzio" Conservatory of Pescara.
After having had professional choral experiences in youth (Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Rai in Roma, Synbolon Ensemble), she starts training as a vocal soloist. She specializes with A. Tomaszewska, R. Straffi, A. Kraus, C. Desderi and in 1993 she is the winner of the Cascinalirica Competition and records a CD of music by G. Albanese. All this gives her the opportunity to improve thanks to the work with various conductors and directors: D. Renzetti, C. Desderi, U. Cattini, N. Samale, S. Sanna, M.Della Chiesa D'Isasca, N Paszkowski, D. Giorgi, JC Plaza, V. Bertinetti, S. Vizioli, M. Zanotto, M. Cappelletti, F. Micheli. She played Giulietta in B. Britten's The Little Sweep, the Squirrel in N. Rota's Lo Scoiattolo in gamba, Amore in C. Monteverdi's L’incoronazione di Poppea, Marcellina in W.A. Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Serpina in La serva padrona by G.B. Pergolesi, and Cagnaragna ne Tana per Candragopoli, a contemporary work by E. Mara Bossero.
The concert performances include, among others, the Mass in C major op. 86 by Beethoven, Mozart's Requiem, C. Crivelli's Rubrum Laudis, Mozart's Kronung-Messe, G. Rossini's Petite messe solennelle, G. Carissimi's Jephte, Missa sacra op. 147, Neujarslied R. Schumann and, as opera in concert form, Beatrice di Tenda by V. Bellini, Tutti in maschera by C. Pedrotti, Stella by C. De Nardis and Parisina by P. Mascagni, covering their main roles.
She also has the opportunity to lend her skills in the musical theater sector as assistant director at the Borgatti Theater in Cento in the production of Cosi fan tutte by W. A. Mozart.
Life events and her professional activity pushes her to research and experiment with various methods and disciplines to enhance self-awareness and breathing techniques, which are fundamental components of her artistic expression. In 2001 she becomes acquainted with the Music Learning Theory by prof. Edwin Gordon and attends the first and second level of the National Training Course "The musical education of children from 0 to 6 years old" following the principle of informal guidance. In 2007, after a specialized seminar, she begins her teaching activity.
From 2008 to 2010 she attends the National training course "Formal Education according to Music Learning Theory" for teaching children aged 6 to 9.
From 2007 to October 2013, as an internal member of AIGAM, she attends seminars and permanent training workshops. Since then she has continued her training by attending the first and second level workshops on "L’insegnamento strumentale secondo la Music Learnig Theory "for wind instruments, teacher D. Alexander, the courses "Music Moves for Piano" for teaching piano, teacher M. Lowe, "Teacher effectiveness training", by the psychologist Ineke Dunselman, "La musica in dialogo con la mente - La lettura con il Do mobile", held by Prof. A. Odone, "La didattica dell’improvvisazione ", teacher C. Azzara, and "Audiation, strumento e improvvisazione", teachers Azzara and Alexander.
In 2013 she establishes the Audiation Institute with other colleagues.
