Oumoulkhairy Carroy is a pianist a performer and a teacher.
After her master degree in Chamber music at the Conservatory of Florence, she continued her development at the Arts Academy in Rome with Konstantin Bogino.
Alongside her studies she has been involved in many educational activities on several fronts.
Piano professor and trainer, she has also been active in the field of radical improvisation since 2004, collaborating with various situations including Tempo Reale, a center of research and production focused on searching new spaces for reflection on contemporary music culture.
In the last few years, having met the theatre collective Fosca, her research has expanded towards new explorations in performative arts.
Being a teacher in the research and development department of the School of Music of Fiesole, she is also the contact person for planning and implementation of the Educational division of the school, Nucleo of the Isolotto Big-Band.
From 2017, in collaboration with her collegue Rita Urbani, she coordinates the artistic and educational activities of the CaMu, Casa della Musica of Arezzo.
