He studied with Maestro A. Borghese at the "L. Cherubini" Conservatory in Florence where he graduated with the highest grades. After three years of following the Special Courses at the School of Music of Fiesole, he deepened his preparation with Maestro G. Puddu while participating in Masterclasses with the major figures of international guitar. He has performed concerts both as a soloist and in chamber formations.
In the 1990s he founded, together with guitarist Duccio Bianchi and soprano Donatella Debolini, the En Pathos Trio. With this original line-up, through extensive work of transcription and adaptation, he helped to expand the guitar repertoire.
In recent years he has turned his commitment mainly to the educational activity, developing over the years a conception of the instrumental technique that starting from a meticulous breakdown of instrumental gestures subsequently reassembles them in a "fluid" mode of application.
His research in the pedagogical field also addressed the issues related to public performance by identifying a path of experiences through which the student acquires self-awareness and ability to control and orientation of thought in stressful situations.
The Maestro is a Guitar Professor at the "G.Puccini" Conservatory in La Spezia.
